The Military Police Command recently held the “July 2026 Monthly Meeting, Promotion and Commissioning, and Exemplary Father Recognition Ceremony.” Presided over by Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang, the Commander, he conferred ranks on the promoted personnel and honored the exemplary fathers. Commander Cheng extended his congratulations to the promoted personnel, emphasizing that a rank promotion represents honor and symbolizes increased responsibility. He also extended gratitude to the families for serving as the strongest support for officers and soldiers in carrying out combat and training missions, embodying the values of the ROC Armed Forces that prioritize both honor and responsibility, and ensure that family life and combat readiness go hand in hand.
Additionally, Commander Cheng reminded all officers and soldiers to strictly observe discipline and commit to rigorous training in preparation for the upcoming live-fire drills during the “Han Kuang 42” exercise. Upholding the spirit that “exercises are combat, and training equals real battle,” they must persistently strengthen their combat readiness, implement confidentiality protocols, conduct risk management measures, and earnestly care for the well-being of officers and soldiers, completing all exercise and training tasks with meticulous attention and demonstrating the ROC Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to defend the homeland.
Lastly, ahead of Father’s Day, Commander Cheng extended his sincere respect and best wishes to all colleagues who are fathers, thanking officers who are fathers for serving as vital pillars within their families and playing key roles within the military. He encouraged all fathers in military service to channel their families’ love and support into robust combat effectiveness, to demonstrate full combat readiness during the live-fire drills of the “Han Kuang 42” exercise, contributing their utmost to national security, so that every father may become a true hero in their loved ones’ hearts.
