Reported by: Yeh, Hsuan-Yu / Summary Report

Lieutenant General Cheng, Chen-Hsiang, Commander of the Military Police Command, hosted the 2026 Military Academy Students' Unit Internship Inspirational Address yesterday. He encouraged the intern students to strengthen their conviction in military service and not forget their initial commitment to serve the country. He urged them to face various future challenges in the units with a "positive and proactive" attitude to establish a new era for their own military careers.

Commander Cheng stated that as intern students transition from school-based developmental education to the practical unit internship stage, they should seize this rare internship opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the operations of grassroots units and refine their professional skills to maximize the effectiveness of the internship. Additionally, he encouraged all students to be courageous in taking on responsibilities, upholding an attitude of "learning more, asking more, and observing more." He urged them to absorb correct knowledge from practical work and exercise a spirit of self-disciplined learning to lay a solid foundation for their future commissions and to continuously inject professional energy and fresh talent into the Military Police.
