Commander Delivered Motivational Speech to New Officers, Expecting Excellence in Professional Skills

Lieutenant General Cheng-Chen-Hsiang, Commander of Military Police Command, presided over the pre-service training for new military officers yesterday and delivered a motivational speech, using his own military career to share his practical work experience and encouraging the new officers to familiarize themselves with the characteristics and regulations of the Military Police units during the course, thus laying down a solid foundation for the development of robust combat capability of the Military Police.

Commander Cheng said that new officers should first understand their personal job responsibilities and operating procedures, implement management by walking around, accumulate working experience from practical work, and actively take in the essential elements for their personal growth, in order to become a high-quality leadership cadre with both talent and morals, and be admired by their subordinates.

Finally, Commander Cheng emphasized that setbacks are inevitable at the beginning of a military career, and that only through continuous enrichment of professional skills, the courage to take on responsibilities, and the fulfillment of one’s duties will one be able to serve as a leader and a good servant of the nation.
