Lieutenant General Cheng-Chen-Hsiang, Commander of Military Police Command, presided over the training session of the non-commissioned officer corps yesterday and delivered a motivational speech, recognizing that all non-commissioned officers are dedicated to their duties, taking active steps to improve their performance, and displaying good attitudes. He also emphasized that non-commissioned officers are the backbone of the troops’ missions and shoulder the important role of connecting officers and soldiers.
Commander Cheng stressed that non-commissioned officers should uphold the core values of “loyalty, professionalism and discipline,” and play a leadership and management role in order to unite officers and soldiers and strengthen the combat effectiveness of the unit. At the same time, non-commissioned officers at all levels should set excellent examples by not only improving their professional skills, but also caring about the lives of officers and soldiers, serving as a bridge for communication, and helping to solve problems, thus creating a cohesive and harmonious atmosphere in the unit.
Last but not least, Commander Cheng hoped that the cadre of non-commissioned officers would continue to demonstrate the key role of “stabilizing and supporting the backbone of the troops,” and to implement the requirements of military discipline to ensure the successful accomplishment of various tasks and demonstrate the Military Police’s solid combat capability.
