Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang, Commander of the Military Police Command, presided over the Promotion and Commissioning Ceremony for January 2025 yesterday. He first acknowledged the silent dedication of the family members behind the promoted officers, welcoming all of them to witness the glorious moments of these officers. He also recognized the tremendous contributions made by his fellow officers, encouraging them to pursue professional excellence and embrace the challenges of the future.
According to Commander Cheng, officers are promoted on the basis that their achievements have been recognized by their superiors and fellow officers, and that the promotion represents greater responsibilities and missions. He urged the promoted officers to be patriotic and not to forget their original intention, to keep on improving themselves and become the key leaders of the unit, to lead the team in growth with enthusiasm, and to devote themselves to their duties based on their nation’s expectations of their important roles and responsibilities.
