Commander encourages the combat preparation troop in the north and recognizes their hard work in training

 To enhance overall resilience of defense and coping capability to combat preparation, Commander of Military Police Command, Lieutenant-General Cheng Chen-Hsiang, visited the combat preparation troop in the north for the recognition of their hard work. He was accompanied by the Brigade Commander of ROCMC 66th Marine Brigade, Major-General Wu, during his visit. Other than listening to the briefing of tasks in the unit, he provided instruction to the recent enemy situation and troop training as well as encouraged officers and soldiers for sticking to the post and working hard in training.

 Commander Cheng recognized soldiers’ training under the scorching heat to strengthen their strong will in combat and their combat capabilities. Additionally, he specifically mentioned in facing the severe threat from the enemy, the complexity at the battlefield and uncertainty are increasing every day. For effective response, units must fully understand the potential actions to be taken by the enemy and combine it with combat plans and scenarios at the combat field to implement practical exercises and continuous combat preparation. Only by ensuring the troop is familiar with the circumstance of battlefield and command procedures, the morale among officers and soldiers as well as professional competence can be actually enhanced, in turn further strengthening garrison capability for national territory.
