Commander of Military Police Command, Lieutenant-General Cheng Chen-Hsiang, presided “Xinyi Battalion New Construction Inauguration Ceremony” yesterday. Friendly forces and representatives from the construction company were invited to join the grand occasion. It was buzzing and successful.
According to Commander Cheng, the facilities in the Original Pingtung Military Police has been used for more than 53 years and were aging; the living area was narrow. With the efforts of senior management, it was included in the “Xing-An Project”. Other than creating a better-quality living space for all officers and soldiers, it offers quality environment containing complete functions for living, training, and daily use.
Commander Cheng pointed out after 3 years, the reconstruction in Pingtung Military Police has been completed as time and quality required. With better living environment, it will increase the willingness of officers and soldiers to stay and further attract more excellent talents to join the national army. Commander Cheng also encouraged officers and soldiers to continue fulfilling the spirit of “loyalty” and working hard in conducting combat training in order to take the important task of safeguarding the country.
