In order to improve the core functions of the cadres, the Military Police Command organized the “2024 Lecture for Cadres” yesterday, with Commander Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang presiding over the opening ceremony, expressing his hope that the lectures will help to improve the competence of junior commanders, enrich their professional knowledge, and grasp the art and skills of leadership, thus building up the solid combat capabilities of the Military Police.
Commander Cheng said, “There are no miracles in training, it is all about continuous progress and improvement”, and that combat readiness and training are the top priorities of the army, and that officers at all levels should have great sense of honor and responsibility, and get rid of unnecessary administrative work, allowing the troops to focus on training without distractions. He hoped that all the officers of the Military Police battalions, units, and companies attending the course would understand the current training objectives and important policy guidelines of the ROC Armed Forces, strengthen their professional skills, and utilize the organizational division of labor to lead their teams to success.
Commander Cheng emphasized that the level of cadres' professional competence is crucial to the troops' combat effectiveness. He urged the participants to lead the troops with a servant's heart and a humble attitude, and to set a good example by leading their teams to carry out the practical work of the troops. At the same time, Commander Cheng also reminded all cadres to humble themselves and live, work, fight and succeed together with the officers and soldiers, thus shaping up a warm and caring leadership style and leading all officers and soldiers to jointly defend national security.
