Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang, Commander of the Military Police Command, recently presided over the October Promotion and Commissioning Ceremony and conferred ranks on the promoted officers. In the ceremony, their family members were also invited to witness this glorious moment. In addition to recognizing officers' outstanding performance at work, Commander Cheng also thanked each of their family members for their unconditional support and dedication, which enabled officers and soldiers to devote themselves to their work without any worries.
Commander Cheng said that the promotion of an officer is a recognition of their performance by their supervisors and fellow officers, and the promotion of an officer to a higher rank is also a sign of greater responsibilities and commitments. He urged the promoted officers to “not forget their original purpose”, to continue to improve their professional skills, to serve as important leaders in their units, to accept challenges, and to lead their teams to grow together with passion and dedication, thus fulfilling the expectations and responsibilities entrusted by the nation.
