Commander Meets with Upcoming Retirees to Recognize Their Contributions to the Military

Lieutenant General Cheng-Chen-Hsiang, Commander of the Military Police Command, met with upcoming retirees at Zhongzheng Camp yesterday and presented them with individual certificates of honor in recognition of their dedication to their duties and outstanding performance during their military service, wishing them a fruitful life and good health after their retirement from the military.

During the meeting with the upcoming retirees yesterday, Commander Cheng affirmed that during their service, they had adopted a loyal, honest and pragmatic attitude, strived to achieve the tasks assigned by their superiors and took the initiative to share their valuable working experience with their subordinates, thus contributing a lot to the ROC Armed Forces and the Military Police. The Commander expressed his expectation for them to maintain their passion for the Military Police after they retired from military service, and to uphold the spirit of loyalty of “once a member of the Military Police, always a member of the Military Police”, to continue to support and encourage serving officers and soldiers, and to share their experiences and valuable advice, thereby enabling continuous improvement and development of the Military Police.

Finally, Commander Cheng urged the retirees not to forget their responsibilities to the country and reminded them that there are always possible attempts by those who seek to pry into state secrets and national defense affairs, and that they should always remain vigilant against the infiltration and manipulation of enemies’ espionage, thereby safeguarding the security of state secrets.
