Commander Presides over Quick Reaction Company’s National Day Operation Rehearsal to Ensure Successful Execution

Lieutenant General Cheng-Chen-Hsiang, Commander of the Military Police Command, visited Huimin Camp yesterday to preside over the rehearsal of the National Day Operation of the Quick Reaction Company. In addition to expressing his appreciation to the officers and soldiers for their hard work in training, he also reminded all units to carry out proper training and coaching of the new recruits, and to enforce the discipline of exercises and safety of the training, thereby eliminating any security risks and ensuring the smooth performance of the National Day Operations.

“There is no miracle in training, it is all about consistent and cumulative improvement,” said Commander Cheng, adding that cadres should help officers and soldiers identify obstacles and optimize improvement through encouragement, interactive discussions, and post-training analyses, as well as implementing management by wandering around, making good use of organizational functions, understanding the emotions and activities of officers and soldiers, and providing them with support in their daily lives.

Finally, Commander Cheng reminded that with the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, officers and soldiers should make good use of their leave to spend time with their families and wished them a happy holiday. Commander Cheng also reminded officers and soldiers to stay away from the temptation of alcohol, drugs, and gambling, and to abide by military rules and regulations. He hoped that all units would uphold their good practices and innovative thinking, and would continue to improve their skills and teamwork, taking pride in their units and pursuing effective training to build up their combat capabilities.
