Commander of the Military Police Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang recently presided over the “93rd Motivational Meeting of the Army Officers’Training Course” at the Military Police Training Center (MPTC), encouraging junior officers to embrace challenges with a positive mindset of “staying self-confident and self-assured”, striving for their unique paths with determination and courage.
Commander Cheng said that the course provides a basic training for junior officers and that every trainee should seize this opportunity to enrich their professional skills, actively raise questions when encountering problems, comply with regulations on internal management, and cultivate good military manners and habits.
Lastly, in view of the grave cross-strait tension and the frequent illegal and surreptitious collection of classified information by the Chinese Communist Party, Commander Cheng reminded that “confidentialityis the duty of every soldier.” As soldiers, one must always be aware of the importance of security, reinforcing habits in keeping secrecy, and refraining from arbitrarily divulging or handing over military secrets to those who have ulterior motives, thereby safeguarding national security.
