The 2024 Iron Defender Combat Camp of the Military Police Command commenced yesterday.Commander ofMilitary Police Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang presided over the opening ceremony and urged the trainees to uphold the spirit of “Self-Challenge” to overcome obstacles and pass the tests, as well as to learn more about the Military Police and cultivate the concept of national defense for all through this training course.
The Iron Defender Combat Camp this year was held at the Military Police Training Center. During the opening and flag presentation ceremony, the leader of trainees acted as the flag recipient and received the flag from Commander Cheng, symbolizing the official commencement of the camp and the success of related activities.
Commander Cheng said that the main purpose of the camp is to integrate the national defense concepts and the features of the Military Police in an entertaining and educational way, allowing the trainees to experience national defense affairs first-hand and then engage in defending national security. He encouraged all trainees to serve in the military in the future and to join the family of the Military Police to protect and defend the country. In addition, he reminded cadres and trainees that there are always potential dangers in any military course, and trainees must listen carefully to the safety rules and regulations given by the instructors to ensure the safety of activities. Lastly, he expressed his wish that every participant would have a fruitful and fulfilling experience, and would become the strongest supporter of the Military Police and national defense in the future.
