Commander Hosted Combat Readiness Day Seminar to Encourage Practical Training

Reported by Yang Chiao-Lin/ Summary report

Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang, Commander of Military Police Command, hosted a seminar on the Combat Readiness Day yesterday, inviting subordinate and friendly units of the garrison to discuss the issues of “Personnel”, “Logistic Support”, “Communication” and “Politics and Warfare”, with a view to integrating the resources quickly in wartime and strengthening the troops’combat resilience to support the accomplishment of the military missions.

During the meeting,Commander Cheng said that there must be continuity in the discussion of issues, thus the collective wisdom can be utilized through the meeting to propose solutions tailored to the actual needs and limitations of the troops, which can be further incorporated into the annual training (exercise) to serve as a reference for the revision of the plan, thereby making the operational plan more specific and comprehensive and laying the foundation for the success of military strategies.

Ensuring Operation Execution and Strengthening Combat Resilience

Finally, Commander Cheng also reminded that “practicality” is the key to combat readiness training. The implementation of the plan depends on the ability of the basic units to carry out battlefield management, combat-oriented training and other preparations in accordance with the current enemy situation. Especially in the event of a sudden war, by enhancing battlefield management and completing the mechanism for integrating military and civilian forces, the troops will be able to be deployed and mobilized quickly during wartime, ensuring maximum advantage in the battlefield, effectively reinforcing the defensive capabilities, and safeguarding national security.
