Commander Visits the Troops in the North and Recognizes Their Efforts in Combat Training

Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang, Commander of Military Police Command, visited the Military Police units in the northern region yesterday. In addition to recognizing the efforts of the officers and soldiers in their combat training duties, he also urged the cadres to provide practical life care and enhance the cohesion of the unit. Commander Cheng said that cadres at all levels should properly perform base preparations for further training as well as implement actual combat training in accordance with the annual training program so as to comply with the principle of "Training for Service", which is to gradually and progressively strengthen physical fitness and tactical skills to enhance the combat skills of officers and soldiers, thereby fostering the troops' actual combat capabilities.

Safeguarding the Honor of the Military Police and Utilizing Mutual Assistance Mechanism

Commander Cheng emphasized that cadres should live, train and work together with officers and soldiers to give full play to the establishment's mutual assistance mechanism. In addition, all work assignments must comply with the rules and regulations and the principle of fairness and impartiality, and there should be no bullying against junior officers by senior officers, thereby jointly safeguarding the honor of the Military Police and the harmony of the unit.
