Commander presides the training closing and rank awarding ceremony and encourages taking up tasks

 Commander of Military Police Command, Lieutenant General Cheng Chen-Hsiang, presided the training closing and rank awarding ceremony for the 55th reserved non-commission officer class yesterday. He awarded training closing certificates to newly promoted officers and wore a ranking shoulder mark on them. He expected all the non-commission officers and cadres to continue improving their professional knowledge and competence as well as be proud of being military police and regard being a serviceman as their career to serve our country.

Fully perform responsibilities of education and caring as well as being active and proactive

 According to Commander Cheng, non-commission officers are the core cadres of a troop as well as the bridge between officers and soldiers. They carried important responsibilities of executing tasks of military training and educational training. Therefore, they must fully understand loyal bearings of military police and the four key beliefs of “peace, courage, integrity, and wisdom” to fulfill the glorious mission of military police. In addition, non-commission officers must fully perform the responsibilities of educating and taking care of subordinates with an active attitude of “following me” in order to maintain combat capabilities for the troop.

 In the end, Commander Cheng highlighted being a newly promoted officer is a new milestone in the military career. Each colleague must continue improving to strengthen their knowledge and competence for the main duty, being active when executing tasks, be brave in taking up tasks, mastering their professional skills as well as grasp opportunities of learning new skills in their free time and work hard in improving themselves in order to become a professional non-commission officer that is able to assist officers and direct soldiers.
