Commander of the Military Police and Lieutenant General Chou, Kuang-Chi visited the Military Police Troop of the Northern Region. In addition to following-up the recovery of the camp after the disaster, he reminded cadres to conduct physical inspections of the camp's police surveillance system and blocking facilities to see whether these sites were affected by collapsed vegetation. With regular maintenance, cadres should ensure that the operation of the equipment and systems remains normal through function tests and replacement of old consumables in order to safeguard the overall security and protection of the camp.
Maintaining a Solid Combat Power and Withholding Pragmatism
Commander Chou said that the cadres should take the opportunity of security drills to familiarize themselves with the deployment of troop and firepower, and steel their command and control as well as their ability to respond to emergencies, so as to ensure that personnel can respond to emergencies immediately. He also urged the rear general officers to maintain a pragmatic spirit in all matters, implement readiness training, and comply with disciplinary requirements, so as to maintain the solid combat power of the troop.
“Standards and consistency are the core principles of internal management.” Commander Chou emphasized that cadres should follow the principles of standardized and disciplined management, while making good use of the organizational division of work to assist the general officer in supervising and promoting various tasks, so as to achieve the goal of “everyone has their responsible tasks and everything is taken care of by someone,” and effectively build up the spirit of teamwork and responsibility.
