Commander of Military Police Command, Lieutenant General Chou Kuang-Chi, inspected the combat readiness force yesterday and requested the unit to strengthen risk management measures, to accurately follow procedures, steps, and guidelines to carry out training lessons. He highlighted during the period of combat preparedness training and physical training, cadres should pay close attention to the physical conditions of soldiers. He reminded subordinates supplement water more often and effectively prevent personnel from heat injury in order to ensure health and safety of soldiers.
Strengthening security mechanism and implementing inspection
During inspection, Commander Chou expressed each unit must actually implement maintenance of camp environment and clear out containers that hold water in order to prevent vector species that cause Dengue fever. He also inspected the construction in the mountain behind the camp and requested to implement irregular inspection and maintenance as well as coordinate with training courses, combine with the actual situation at the site, and strengthen camp security responding mechanism. “Everywhere can be the battlefield and carrying out training any time” should be followed as the core objectives to effectively enhance the defending and safeguarding abilities in the garrison area.
In the end, Commander emphasized the annual live-fire drill is around the corner. He requested colleagues to strictly follow the discipline of confidentiality, perform the training effect over the year, work hard to achieve tasks assigned by the direct supervisors, and establish the atmosphere of honor, teamwork, and well-disciplined. He also reminded cadres with “Pareto principle” to fulfill the established organizational spirits, ensure proper maintenance and storage of troop equipment, strengthen personnel safety control, and eliminate risks that endanger the troop security.
