Yesterday, the commanding officer of the Military Police Command, Lt. Gen. Chou Kuang Chi inspected the terrain exercise and showed the back sight area, military points and, all terrains to the main cadres. They analyzed tactical values and use of force through ample discussion and multiple perspectives, and included these as a reference for revising plan, so as to advance the combat performance.
Commander Chou mentioned that all troops should grasp the environment characteristic, collect the information such as topographic features, traffic arteries, peripheral device, and available resources, and walk through the situation through regular battlefield management, military simulation, strengthen the capability of reconnaissance, striking, maneuver, complementary, and leading, and provide a great backup support to help defeat the enemy.
Commander Chou stressed that cadres must educate the soldiers to understand the combat mission, be familiar with the battlefield environment through training and simulation. In the regular comprehensive training, it’s important to train the soldiers with alertness to the presence of the enemy, ensure the defense capability and show the strong combat capability and the determination to fight for the nation.
