Commander hosts combat training preparation meeting and demonstration of safeguard duty to encourage implement battlefield management

 Commander of Military Police Command, Lieutenant General Chou Kuang-Chi,  hosted February Combat Training Preparation Meeting and Demonstration of Safeguard Duty at Ai-Guo Camp yesterday. He pointed out in the meeting that to respond to the change of international trend recently, cadres in different levels must follow the concept of “whole army, defeat the enemy” to implement the behaviors of self-defending and battlefield management. Strict and difficult trainings must be carried out thoroughly to achieve the goal of preserving combat capability and fulfilling our combat capability.

 Commander Chou encouraged cadres to carry out the mindset of a straw shows which way the wind blows as well as always prepared for danger in the peacetime to implement internal management. He also reminded soldiers with “no tolerance on the violation of military discipline” and requested all the subordinates to strictly follow the military regulations. In addition, Commander Chou expected soldiers to carry the principle of “training for practical application” and continue strengthening military education recall training to develop the spirit and concept of “no one can save your country but you” among servicemen in order to gather the cohesion as well as establish the identity of protecting the country, protecting the land, and protecting properties.

 Commander Chou emphasized when hosting the demonstration and exercise of safeguard duty that each unit must ensure soldiers familiar with the regulations of the duty through on-site training. They shall follow “procedures, steps, and main points” to handle emergency properly. If necessary, it can be combined with warning sound signal to implement “hazard in one place triggers alert to the whole unit” to ensure the safety of the unit. In the end, Commander Chou stressed the task of safeguard duty is the foundation of military police, and it must meet the regulations specified in the guideline, educational regulations, educational rules, and handbook and ensure soldiers familiar with relevant regulations and requirement as well as response behaviors to further strengthen the maintenance of camp safety and emergency responding capability.
