Commander inspects mortar firing and reminds the safety of training

 Commander of Military Police Command, Lieutenant General Chou Kuang-Chi, visited the Northern Testing Center yesterday to inspect the mortar firing practice in Military Police 228 Battalion. He reminded officers and soldiers to focus on procedures, process, and guidelines during the daily training as well as practice everything repeatedly and strictly in order to fulfill effective combat capabilities according to the real situation in the battlefield.

 Commander Chou highlighted 228 Battalion is the backbone of the military strength in the garrison area. He requested cadres to implement reviewing after training, ensure the training of the new personnel and the refresher training for specialty for continuous improvement, combine the training for combat readiness with training verification, and arrange carders at battalions, companies, as well as platoons to complete the training of being instructors in the artillery commanding units to enhance training efficiency and shooting validity.

 In the end, Commander Chou recognized the hard work done by all the colleagues and reminded them to pay attention on safety during the training as well as risk management to ensure the maintenance of personnel safety and property safety.
