Commander Inspected Battalion 601, Encouraging the Accumulation of High Level Combat Strength

Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant-General Huang, Chin-Tsai, accompanied by Major Sergeant Chiu, Deputy Director of Political Warfare Major Pan as well as other officers, inspected Battalion 601 of Command 205 in the Wenyuan Barracks. Aside from the distribution of team bonuses, Commander Huang affirmed the effort demonstrated by the soldiers in the execution of the missions, as well as wishing everyone a very happy Dragon Boat 4-day weekend. While conducting the pep-talk, Commander Huang stressed that all units must place particular emphasis on training tasks, and perform repeated training on fitness, combat skills and personal skillsets as well as weapons arrangement or weapons firing. Concerning items on combat strength, one shall always be focused, pragmatic, and follow through step by step in its execution, educating the subordinates to understand and be familiar with each item, thus allowing them to be experts, to continuously accumulate training effectiveness, thereby gradually elevating the overall combat strength of the unit.

Commander Huang indicated that all colleagues shall properly devise a career path while continually advance oneself in one’s own personal skillsets, to achieve a higher rank, striving towards the attainment of different positions and roles. Also, one shall seek after further education during one’s off time, to acquire certification, thereby elevating one’s competitiveness. One shall always stay true to oneself, to exercise within the boundaries while cherishing all valuable work experience. In fact, one shall never waste time and leave everything to chance so that no regrets are present. Additionally, all units shall commend soldiers who have demonstrated excellent performance, encouraging soldiers to transition into officers, thus retaining talents for the unit and accumulating high quality combat strength.     

“The unit is like a big family, in which working, training, living, and combat must all be executed together,” as Commander Huang emphasized. Whereas all colleagues shall show concern to one another while helping each other out, officers have the duty of understanding the mental stability of his/her subordinates while gaining a thorough knowledge of the conditions on and off the base. Whenever a situation arises, an officer shall actively provide assistance so that a harmonious and coherent atmosphere can be established, allowing all soldiers to jointly create a solid combat team with “three confidences.”  

With the Dragon Boat weekend just around the corner, Commander Huang not only distributed team bonuses while wishing everyone happy holidays in advance, he reminded everyone that he adherence to military discipline has no off time. As a member of the military police, one shall always be cautious of one’s actions and the words spoken, in which one shall always abide by the laws and regulation. During the holidays, it is usual for soldiers to participate in gatherings. However, one shall abide by gender equality regulations, upholding an attitude of “being mannered,” adhering to all form of social interaction regulations. Finally, one shall never drink and drive, never consume any drugs, thereby achieving the goal of “personal safety, property safety, and zero risk to safety,” collaboratively maintaining the honor of the military police while securing the combat strength of the force.
