In order to strengthen the ground level units’ adherence to the relevant demands and regulations of security services as well as to strengthen their familiarity to inventory management, Military Command held a “Military Inventory and Security Service Demonstration” at Fuxi Barracks yesterday, inviting all directors and important officers to participate in discussing the root problems in management and in the current system through the methods of “practical exercises” and “seminar discussions,” thereby strengthening the competencies of all soldiers, realizing practical tasks. Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant General Huang, Chin-Tsai emphasized that by familiarizing with tasks of military inventory management and security services, soldiers are able to duly perform the tasks given to them. With the help of the full utilization of the fingerprint technology, soldiers can accurate implement the checking and recording of inventory, ensuring the security of team preparations.
Commander Huang indicated that to meet the demands of maintaining the security of the barracks, one should always act in accordance with the “time and place.” Therefore, all soldiers should acquire a good understanding of everything that’s taking place both inside and outside of the barrack, having a good grasp of the possible risk factors, thereby formulating appropriate responses for every possible occasion. Also, all soldiers should strengthen training activities, be familiarize with every response, thus ensuring the security of the barrack itself.
“Military regulation security depends on the combat strength of the unit,” as Commander Huang reminded his fellow officers in attendance during the demonstration. Commander Huang indicated all officers should pass down such notion to his/her subordinates, that all should strictly adhere to the demands of military law and regulations, never try to violate the law, which may result in the termination of one’s future career as well as damage the honor of the military police. Commander Huang further stressed that all officers must be proactive, to show concern to his/her subordinates and to take care of them when the need arises. Only doing so will maintain the purity of the unit as well as develop the cohesiveness and coherence of the unit, thereby allowing the unit to stand as one in the face of any challenges.
