Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant General Huang, Chin-Tsai hosted the “2019 Recruitment Seminar pep talk yesterday, first thanking the hard work and efforts poured in by the recruiters, with the results being quite obvious to all. Commander Huang expected the continuous implementation of recruitment to attract more excellent talents for the military police, thereby establishing solid combat strength.
Commander Huang emphasized that, although current recruitment has reached its intended goal, but all should still adhere to the principle of “quality over quantity,” not just recruiting anyone that applies. Furthermore, during the recruitment process, one should adopt a diverse method and proactive demeanor, through the creation of a positive and friendly service environment and the realization of rewards programs to attract more willing individuals to join the military police. Additionally, while in the barracks, officers shall proactively show concern and care for his/her subordinates, assist them in setting up life goals and vision, increase the retention willingness of soldiers, thereby achieving the goal of talent recruitment and talent retention.
Lastly, Commander reminded all recruitment staff to always be aware of his/her cleanliness and overall attire while maintaining passion for the recruitment task when facing the public, as they are essentially representatives of the military police. Moreover, one should naturally exude a sense of honor and acknowledgement towards his/her unit, which allows civilians to understand the military police and support the national army.
