While hosting the “Recruitment Review/Combat Training Meeting for September of 2019” yesterday, Military Police Command Commander Huang, Chin-Tsai emphasized that all officers shall personally perform every task. In regards to mission assignments such as discipline, morality, command ethics, and training, one should never forget to maintain the utmost perseverance in the completion of each assignment, thereby persevering the order and heritage of the unit so that a loyal team with solid combat strength can be established.
Commander Huang stressed that tasks such as recruitment and retention shall be strictly reviewed to achieve the goal of: “Keeping the Good, Weeding out the Bad,” thereby assisting in the maintenance of the unit’s combat strength. Furthermore, all officers should proactively assist his/her subordinates to properly devise a career path, to encourage one in pursuing personal advancement, which allows one the opportunity in the acquisition of a brighter future, elevation of one’s innate quality, thereby improving the combat strength of the team.
Commander Huang further emphasized that all units must remove all obstacles, fully carry through with all tasks such as fitness and professional skills training, designing of shooting drill…etc., thereby achieving an improvement in training results, comprehensively realizing the full potential of the unit’s combat strength. In addition, officers should attempt to establish a healthy exchange of ideologies and views with his/her subordinates, forming a bond and uniting as one, jointly facing the challenges of each mission with a positive attitude. Furthermore, Commander Huang once again reiterated the notion that zero tolerance will be given to anyone who violates the law, therefore all soldiers must strictly abide by the requirements of the regulations. Especially for violations such as drunk driving or spreading of rumors which causes harm to public safety, severe punishment is now in effect after the passing of several amendments, thus soldiers should never attempt to violate the law.
