Lieutenant General Cheng Cheng-Hsiang, Commander of the Military Police Command, presided over the 2024 "National Military Spirit Enhancement Project Education" summary address for primary commanders yesterday. In addition to acknowledging the hard work of officers and soldiers in mission preparation, he also emphasized the importance of maintaining high morale and fulfilling duties with utmost diligence in the face of the upcoming live-fire exercises to ensure the successful execution of training tasks.
Commander Cheng highlighted that the Han Kuang Exercise is the most significant annual training exercise for the national military. The Spirit Enhancement Project Education aims to unify the spirit and will of the officers and soldiers on the eve of the mission, reinforcing their commitment to national defense and counter-espionage. All military police officers and soldiers should adopt a pragmatic attitude, continuously promote realistic training, build robust combat capabilities, and ensure effective performance during wartime.
Commander Cheng stressed that all units should be guided by the principle of "combat as the foundation and training as the focus," implementing course exercises through "real soldiers, real locations, real-time, and real equipment" to sharpen the operational capabilities of officers and troops. He reminded officers that preparations for the exercises are ongoing, and each unit must adhere to procedures, steps, and key points to control and execute tasks according to the timeline, ensuring mission success based on safety.
