Commander of Military Police Command, Lieutenant General Huang Chin-Tsai was accompanied by Sergeant Supervisor, Master Sergeant Chiu and other cadres yesterday to visit Military Police Command 203 Long Chang Barracks Area to convey greetings to the tier 2 and tier 3 shooters in training at the unit. Commander Huang encouraged all the trainees to grasp the opportunity of training, learning and exchanging with colleagues as well as fully perform the skills of “accuracy and precision shooting”.
According to Commander Huang, one must experience strict physical training and psychology training before becoming an excellent shooter. All trainees must be tough-minded and carry the characteristics of never yielding in spite of setbacks. One shall perform daily practices again and again to enhance the stability of shooting, never allowing various environmental factors to be the barrier for shooting, thereby achieving shooting the target precisely under different circumstances.
Commander Huang highlighted that training must be continuous. Personnel with poor performance shall implement the training step by step with the approach of finding the right antidote instead of being impetuous and rash during the training and practice. Cadres must adopt “strict and hard” requirements to implement training persistently as well as find out right methods on the personal weakness of the shooter to fulfill the real purpose for the training.
In the end, Commander Huang reminded cadres that they must request trainees to supplement water during the training under the hot weather recently to avoid heat injury. “Safety” shall be put in priority, strictly comply with training discipline, and carry out all the prevention behaviors to ensure the overall combat capabilities.
