Commander Encouraged the Cadre to Implement a Hierarchical Mentoring System

By Hong Ziyang / General Report

The Military of Police Command held a February/March 2021 combat training and preparation meeting yesterday, chaired by Commander Lt. Gen. Huang Jin-Tsai. During the meeting, the commander presented certificates of merit to officers with meritorious combat experience and highlighted that officers at all levels should have the expectation of "responsibility", he then listened to the work reports from all units and implemented reviews and improvements in order to improve administrative efficiency and the combat effectiveness of the troops, and to build a solid foundation for the military police.

Commander Huang said that the cadre at all levels must fulfill their duties and responsibilities, implement the requirements of hierarchical supervision (mentoring), use "counseling over review, prevention over accountability" management, proactively understand the situation of the personnel in the battalion units, implement family contact and understand the officers and soldiers, eliminate the occurrence of military discipline cases, and ensure the safety of the troops.

Commander Huang reminded that the units should fully communicate and clarify everything, implement the work in accordance with the law, and consistently promote the importance of keeping gender distinctions, confidentiality, drink-driving prevention and epidemic prevention, in order to build a strong sense of unity.
