Military Command held the “Combat Training Preparations Meeting and Rank Awarding Ceremony for the Second Half of 2020” for the month of June yesterday, which was hosted by Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant-General Huang, Chin-Tsai. Aside from affirming the relentless effort demonstrated by the soldiers in combat training, Commander Huang also stressed the need to accurately perform internal management to, fully realize the demands of “Designated Positions for People, Designated Locations fort Objects, and Designated Laws for Matters” so that all units act accordingly and all matters can be strictly controlled, thereby solidify the combat strength of the forces.
Commander Huang indicated that all units must accurately realize pragmatic tasks such as daily exercises, weekly weapons preparations/shooting practices, and monthly skillset improvements as well as the fulfillment of the orders and demands of the missions. Also, officers shall lead by example and carry his/her subordinates to fully devote to all team matters, thereby enhancing the coherence and morale of the soldiers so that all soldiers can jointly solidify the combat strength of the unit. Additionally, officers shall have a thorough understanding of the key points in the important commands of all levels to educate the student by combining the key points with the features of the unit’s missions. Do not just go by what the teachings said, and then maximum effectiveness can be achieved.
Commander Huang once again reminded that the safety of the soldiers is the core duty of the officers, and that one shall keep in mind the notion of “having a good grasp of the few to secure the maximum combat effectiveness,” in which one shall actively show concern to his/her subordinates and to assist in solving issues. Especially when dealing with new colleagues, an officer shall devote more time into his/her well-being, in which one shall see put oneself in his/her shoes and see things from their perspective. By showing genuine concern, allowing them to integrated into the unit at a faster pace so that they can full devote to the missions. Also, as the annual crucial combat training practice is just around the corner, everyone shall treat confidentiality as top priority, to strictly adhere to military discipline, and to be thorough in risk management so that risks are nonexistent, thereby securing the safety and combat strength of the force.
While Commander Huang was hosting the “Rank Awarding Ceremony for the Second Half of 2020,” rank was award to each individual one by one, with affirmation and encouragement given. Commander Huang expected all to strictly abide by their duties, to maintain a clean image and not take any bribes, and to find achievement through work, to build confidence through the accumulation of mission experiences, to pragmatically exercise combat force management and combat training missions, thereby maintaining national security. Commander Huang also shared the honor and the happiness of receiving promotion with the family of those that are being awarded, stating that family is the backbone of all soldiers, showing gratitude to their selfless support to the officers so that these officers can fully devote to their jobs. Lastly, Commander Huang reminded colleagues to never forget the reason they all joined the military police in the first place, to never let the nation and its citizens down, and to contribute to the country and give thanks to his/her family with their superior performance.
