Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant General Huang Chin-Tsai met up with the new director of the unit yesterday, pointing out during the conversation that since officers has the ability to shape his/her subordinates, all officers should therefore lead by example, leading the soldiers to the successful completion of missions and duties, continue to build a high quality work environment as well as creating solid combat strength.
Commander Huang indicated that the changing of positions may assist one to broaden his/her horizons and mindset, thereby accumulating rich experiences. Also, the supervising unit shall be in tune with the evolving times and continually advance to create a progressing force that is capable of satisfying demands. On another note, Commander Huang stressed the importance of valuing internal management, in which all officers should be able to thoroughly implement all regulations. Only through long term and strict demands can one see the effect taking place gradually, thereby creating a solid combat force.
Commander Huang also encouraged officers to continue pursue higher education to elevate one’s competency and knowledge. Also, officers should adopt “management by walking around” to gain a thorough understanding of the duties of the soldiers, allowing one to effectively assist solders in solving his/her issues, Lastly, officers should create a home-like, warm atmosphere for the unit, thereby strengthening the coherence of the unit.
