Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant General Huang Chin-Tsai inspected the Taoyuan Military Police Force yesterday. At the same time, Commander Huang delivered words of comfort and encouragement to all soldiers in time for the upcoming New Year. Commander Huang expected all officers to create a sense of belonging so that military forces can experience the warmth of being at home and a joyous work environment. Additionally, officers of all levels should meticulously fulfill one’s duties, effectively grasp a hold of and assist in the anxiety, difficulty, illness, pain, and suffering of all soldiers, thereby enabling soldier to fully devote to the mission at hand. Finally, officers shall utilize words of encouragement to inspire colleagues to complete one’s duties to the best of his/her abilities, instilling an active and positive attitude among soldiers.
Commander Huang emphasized the notion of “no off time for military discipline,” in which all officer shall lead by example rather than through spoken words, maintain a sense of responsibility and honor within oneself, upholding a “staying true to oneself” attitude and remain self-disciplined. Furthermore, officers shall continuously educate all soldiers to thoroughly fulfill the demands of “no drunk-driving, anti-drugs, and gender equality,” as well as conduct accurate advisement/inspection to eliminate the bad while keeping the good, thereby eliminating all possible hazards.
Lastly, Commander Huang reminds all soldiers that as they are performing each task, they should abide by the principle of “administrative neutrality,” strictly adhere to the notion of “civilian control of the military.” Commander Huang further stressed that as the weather changes drastically recently, all units should take good care of the soldiers while at the same time continually improve physical fitness, thereby maintaining healthiness of the mind and body, which allows for the completion of every mission.
