Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant General Huang, Chin-Tsai hosted the “Combat Preparations Meeting for the month of November” yesterday, awarded the units or individuals that have contributed to the successful completion of the missions. Commander Huang expects all officers at all levels to view the award recipients as examples, collectively devote to combat training, jointly establishing a excellent force with professional skillsets and solid combat strength.
Commander Huang indicated that all officers shall serve by example, acquiring an in-depth understanding of the conditions of each unit through the method of “management by wandering around,” obtaining a good grasp of the daily living situations of all soldiers, establishing the idea of “follow me,” instead of “you do it” in a leadership mindset. With a thorough understanding of all soldiers and a showing of concern to the subordinates, a warm atmosphere of “the unit is my home” can therefore be created, thereby allowing the retention of talents, formulating the solid combat strength of the military police.
Commander Huang reminded all soldiers that the military has its own designated laws and regulations, of which everyone should strictly abide by, without ever straying away from them, thereby maintaining the excellent tradition and honor of the military police. Also, Commander Huang emphasized that there are no breaks in following military discipline, in which all officers should vehemently request all subordinates to strictly adhere to the demands of the military discipline, especially in regards to major violations of the law such as: drunk-driving, gender inequality, or drug use. Therefore, one should never consider violating the law, which would cause irreversible harm and damage, damaging the image and morale of the unit.
Commander Huang made full use of exercise time by leading everyone, including all officers, supervisors, managers, and directors to a relaxing jog at Dajia Riverside Park, using physical action to realize the benefits and joy that exercise brings, as well as promote healthy leisure activities, which adds to the effect of physical training.
