To instill the concept of military rule and regulation, Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant General Huang, Chin-Tsai went over to the 202 Military Command Unit to host the “2019 Military Discipline Advocacy Tour.” Using actual cases of law violations and losses, Commander Huang reminded all soldiers to duly abide by law regulations and satisfy the demands of military discipline, urging soldiers to never try violating the law, which not only ends one’s career, but may very well cost lives. Commander Huang further stressed the need to prioritize the prohibition of all “incidents that pose a risk to security,” particularly focusing on the scope of anti-drugs, prevention of self-harm, prohibition of drunk-driving, and gender regulations. Commander Huang urged all soldiers to follow through with the aforementioned, thereby ensuring the security of the entire team.
While making remarks during the event, Command Huang started by sharing his own practical experiences from the past, then emphasizing the uniqueness of the missions that the units are responsible for, stressing that the team should achieve unity in thought and goal, in which all soldiers shall also be unison, to be together in living, training, and in combat, thereby attaining total coherence, passing on the notion of loyalty and integrity. At the same time, Commander Huang expected all soldiers to continuously improve upon the ability of providing accurate response, thereby affording one the ability to handle all situations, which in turn satisfies the goal of individual safety and property safety, ultimately allowing the preservation of combat strength.
Commander Huang also pointed out that all soldiers must improve upon his/her security awareness while fully implementing the task of acquiring an understanding of his/her comrades. Commander Huang stressed that soldiers should all be concerned for the well-being of fellow comrades, which aids in the elevation of coherence, enabling soldiers to collaboratively satisfy all tasks. Also, the unit must establish a home-like atmosphere, thereby developing a sense of belonging from the soldiers towards the unit, which further realizes the implementation of “law abiding, rule following, and honor valuing,” achieving the goal of “zero disciplinary acts,” collectively maintain the honor of the military police.
