Reported By LI, Tian-Yu / Summary Report

Military Police Command Commander Lieutenant-General Huang, Chin-Tsai visited the Yunlin Military Police Force yesterday to acquire first-hand knowledge of the execution of disease prevention measures performed by the unit, as well as demonstrating concern for the combat training and living conditions of the soldiers. Commander Huang reminded that the execution of disease prevention measures is of top priority in recent times, in which all soldiers must fully implement all demands of disease prevention measures, to wash their hands more frequently and to avoid going to crowded places, to perform body temperature measurements and disinfection tasks. Also, all soldiers shall abide by policy instructions, such as make proper arrangements in advance and perform separation of functions, in addition to executing unit management, thereby halting the invasion of the disease so that it does not occur in the battalion, ultimately securing the combat strength of the unit.

On another note, Commander Huang emphasized the importance of adhering to laws and regulations, whereas officers shall lead by example and care for his/her subordinates, thereby elevating the coherence of the unit and improve soldiers’ morale so that all can collaboratively strive towards the betterment of the unit as a whole, achieving the goal of “personal safety, property safety, and zero risk to safety.” Also, Commander Huang encouraged the soldiers to properly utilize all resources, to continue one’s education to acquire higher degrees or professional certifications, which will effectively elevate one’s own personal competitiveness, ultimately enhancing the overall competency of the military as a whole.
